Nothing too crazy for this quick update other than now you can have private uploads when using the API. Private images only are hidden from the /latest/ page currently, but will eventually be not viewable by other users.

I've also updated the canary since I've neglected to do that. Sorry.

In this version I've added to images (in the Dashboard) where you can display more than 30 images so you can now mass edit etc. This setting isn't saved in Cookies/Sessions currently, but should be in the next version so you don't have to change it all the time.

This version also cleans up some of the code, but that's irrelevant to you. :)

The update 2.1.1b doesn't add anything, but it does remove recovery of accounts (was poorly implemented) and email on register has been removed. I've also removed emails from the database and recovery keys that were added.

If you need to recover your account go to the contact page and get in touch. I'll see what I can do, but I can't promise I'll reset your account.

Email on register has been removed for plausible deniability and also it improves your privacy when on the site (even though you could've used a fake email).

I couldn't wait any longer for 2.1.0 so I went ahead and pushed it live. Let me know if there are any issues with the site.

Update: After writing in the share page I was unable to get it to work so that's not going to be a feature of imglnx 2.1.0. It would require a full rewrite of the uploading system (which I'm not ready to do yet). Image Tagging, I decided to not add that as it's kind of pointless since we have albums now. I may add tagging in the future so you can quick sort your images.

Recently I actually started active development again on imglnx and I've made some progress on the Albums system. Albums are a confirmed feature for 2.1.0 along with some other features.

While 2.1.0 won't completely overhaul the site, it'll add some new stuff, have some optimizations, and bugs fixed.

I don't have any idea when I'll push the update (other than when it's ready), but I'd project it being released in 2 weeks.

If you have any requests for 2.1.0 feel free to contact me and I'll see if it's something I can add for 2.1.0.
